　　On May 18
， Ge Haijiao， Chairman of Bank of China Limited ， met with Sir Mark Tucker
， Chairman of AIA Group， at the Bank’s Head Office in Beijing． The two sides exchanged views on macroeconomic conditions in China and around the world ， and discussed cooperation opportunities in bancassurance
， asset custody， as well as in specific markets including Hong Kong and Southeast Asia． Huang Xueling ， Executive Vice President of Bank of China Limited
， and Lee Yuan Siong， AIA Group Chief Executive and President ， also attended the meeting．

　　Both parties agreed to work more closely and in a wider range of areas going forward
， leveraging their respective strengths across different markets and business sectors． They aimed to build a new benchmark for bank-insurance partnership in China and across the broader Asia-Pacific region．
